“SEAMEO Financial Documentation and Report Preparation”

SEAMEO CHAT successfully conducted a training programme entitled “SEAMEO Financial Documentation and Report Preparation” from 23 to 25 June 2026 at its Centre in Yangon, Myanmar, with the kind support of the SEAMEO Secretariat.
The objective of this training is to strengthen the capacity of SEAMEO CHAT staff in financial management, documentation procedures, and report preparation in accordance with SEAMEO regulations and standards. The programme will provide valuable guidance and practical knowledge that will contribute to improving the accuracy, transparency and efficiency of financial administration and reporting within the Centre. Their participation as trainers will greatly benefit our staff and enhance their understanding of SEAMEO financial procedures and best practices. The training was attended by staff members from the Administrative Department, Finance Department, Research and Development Department, and the Resource Centre of SEAMEO CHAT.
Throughout the three-day session, participants gained valuable guidance and hands-on practical knowledge from Mrs. Kornkanok Chareonwuthilarp (Finance Manager) and Ms. Lamyai Sopa (Accountant). Their expert insights provided clear clarity on enhancing financial administration and reporting standards within the Centre.
