“The Role of AI in Educational Research”

SEAMEO CHAT successfully conducted a Hybrid Lecture Series titled, “The Role of AI in Educational Research”, at its Centre in Yangon, Myanmar, on 24 February 2026.
The Hybrid Lecture highlighted educational research and library sectors, research methodologies, teaching and learning processes and Information management systems through the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology.
Two papers were presented by Dr. Khin Lay Soe, the Former Director of SEAMEO CHAT, the Vice President (2), Myanmar Library Association, and Dr. Tun Aung Kyaw, Part-Time Professor, Department of Library and Information Studies, University of Yangon. A total of 96 participants attended the event: 63 in person and 33 participating through the online platform including researchers and scholars from different Universities around Myanmar.
