Governing Board Meeting
The 22nd SEAMEO Regional Centre for History and Tradition (CHAT) Governing Board (GB) Meeting was held virtually on Friday, 15 September 2023 at SEAMEO CHAT in Yangon, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. The 22nd GB Meeting of SEAMEO CHAT commenced with the opening address by Dr. Zaw Myint, Deputy Minister for Education, Ministry of Education, Myanmar.
The Meeting was attended by Ms. Pintip Iamnirath, Deputy Director of SEAMEO Secretariat and Dr. Naw Si Blut, Acting Director of SEAMEO CHAT, together with members of the GB from five SEAMEO member countries, namely Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore and Vietnam, as well as representatives from Indonesia, the Philippines and Thailand on behalf of the respective GB Members. The GB members from Laos and Timor Leste sent their apologies as they could not attend the Meeting due to other official duties. The Deputy Director of the SEAMEO Secretariat served as Ex-Officio Member.
