“Bagan Buddhism and Arts through the Ages”

In commemoration of 22 nd anniversary of SEAMEO CHAT, the Hybrid Seminar on “Bagan Buddhism and Art through the Ages” was held on           29 th December 2022 including six papers by the professor from the University of London, local professors and scholars.
It highlighted the different perspectives of Bagan Art which could not be separated from the belief of Buddhism and its development through          long history of Myanmar. In this occasion, Dr. Yin Myo Thu, Deputy Director General delivered the opening address on behalf of
the Director General of the Department of Higher Education.
